In a unexpected crossover event that breaks conventional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Revealed
According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses reverberate through the darkness." The plot introduces a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine cult.
The questline concentrates on "strange trials and a fearsome enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Changes
The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an unique katana alongside numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
